& Juliet, one of this generation's premier shows is arriving in George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater, Salt Lake City in the nearing June on Tuesday 17th June 2025. Based on one of the most renowned classics, George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater takes on the demand of hosting the live staging of the classic tale of Romeo & Juliet. Having state-of-the-art advanced equipment that is sure to provide a phenomenal visual experience, fans are in for a treat with not just a comfortable viewing but also an impeccable technical production of this jukebox musical.

William Shakespeare's love story has long been famous as one of the most despairing plays of all time, with the central characters' zealous infatuation for one another leading to their death by their own hands. Making use of Shakespeare and his wife, Hathaway, as narrators in the new musical itself however, the worldwide and fresh play, & Juliet, changes up the narrative by allowing Juliet to live through the ending of the death of her true love and giving her a chance to redefine herself. Opting to begin again with her equally-resolved companions, the characters are opened up to an unknown world beyond what Juliet and her friends were ready for when they arrive in France.

Given that 400 years have passed since Romeo and Juliet, the musical also chose to apply implementation that appeals to a younger audience. To present its message across to the theatergoers, the play showcases a slew of numbers from current music industry's top producer, Max Martin. The Swedish producer already had intentions of creating a musical around all his songs over his career, which prompted ‘& Juliet’ being launched and afterwards having its first run in the year of 2019. Martin was very liberal in the renditions of his songs to the play, stating that he “hoped to revive his songs over the years in a new way, and to have fans feel that even if his songs are performed differently, you should discover their love for his hits again.” The ongoing musical ended up including hits from global artists including Celine Dion, Ke$ha, P!nk, and The Backstreet Boys, among others. Due to its song choices, it set the stage for welcoming a diverse and young generation to theater.

Continuing its unbelievable runs from West End, seats to ‘& Juliet’ are currently for sale and can be bought using the links that can be found on the top of this page.
