The actor, comedian, and singer will travel across the country and hit over 40 cities for their Everything at Stake Tour! On Wednesday, 2nd August 2023, Jinkx Monsoon is set to light up the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City, Utah! The much-awaited show will feature songs from Jinkx Monsoon’s highly-acclaimed studio efforts, The Inevitable Album and The Ginger Snapped, plus many more surprises! Jinkx Monsoon just completed reprising the role of Mama Morton in the Broadway production of Chicago. Known by many as a drag performer, Jinkx Monsoon has performed in theater since 2010. They first took the role of Red Ranger in Red Ranger Came Calling, held in Seattle. The following year, Monsoon joined the cast of Turning Parlor Tricks and The Threepenny Opera. From 2012 to 2013, Monsoon joined even more staggering productions, such as Rent, Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Hairspray. All this is happening while Monsoon maintains their drag persona. In 2012, They joined and won the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Aside from performing drag, Jinkx Monsoon also pursued a career in music. In 2014, Monsoon released their debut studio effort, The Inevitable Album, and spawned the singles “Coffee & Wine,” “The Bacon Shake,” and “Creep.” The following year, Monsoon dropped a remix album titled Reanimated. Three years later, they released their sophomore studio effort, The Ginger Snapped, featuring the lead single, “Cartoons and Vodka.”
In 2022, Jinx Monsoon returned to RuPaul’s Drag Race to compete in the seventh season of All Stars edition. Their acting and musical prowess has made them an unprecedented contender, having won most of the challenges in multiple episodes. Eventually, they were crowned the winner and anointed “Queen of All Queens.”
